Lisi Aerospace is an aerospace manufacturing company that focuses on fittings and fasteners. At the Garden Grove location, formerly known as B&E Manufacturing, we primarily manufactured fittings for air and spacecraft.
As a part of the Continuous Improvement team at Lisi Aerospace Garden Grove, I had responsibilities that ranged between multiple departments on-site. Most notably was the implementation of statistical process control and heading the project to purchase and introduce the Keyence IM systems to our location. Outside of my projects, I gained valuable experience in many areas such as CAD design, manufacturing, 3D printing, data collection and analysis, automation, developing control plans, leading training and implementing corrective actions and more. In terms of improvements, I was able to help reduce SPC programming time by 500%, reduce in-process inspection time by 90%, introduce the tracking of attrition and rework costs to my location.
